Pico Island is becoming increasingly lighter and more sustainable, to the point that it has allowed a favourable EIA for the construction of a 172-bed hotel in the heart of the Protected Landscape of the Pico Vineyard Culture. The Sustainable Flight of the EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) took place without any objections from civil society during the public consultation period.
